About Us

Hides N Horns was established by Liz and Frank Elfering from Idaho. We both grew up in very small towns and were raised with strong agricultural influences and western values. After college, we started our professional careers, raised four great children, and recently celebrated our 30-year wedding anniversary. Although our careers were not in agriculture, we never lost the thought of what it means to live the western lifestyle.

After leaving the corporate world, we decided to hit the rodeo circuit, attending many of the biggest rodeos in North America. We have always loved the sport of Pro Rodeo, but simply did not have the time to travel to all of these great venues until now. Besides the actual rodeo action, the best part of the rodeos has been meeting people from all walks of life that enjoy and live the great western style of living.

We established Hides N Horns because we wanted to share our love of the western lifestyle beyond our normal circle. We first put several cow hides and sets of horns in our home. The response we received was tremendous and we had many friends ask us for help to source them. Many of these products can be tough to find and are hard to buy from a single supplier, so we made the leap to form our company enabling us to offer our select products to a wider group. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality western products that are distinctive, authentic, stylish, functional, and add to your overall enjoyment of the western way of life.
